The turtle on a journey!
The turtle experiences different kinds of weather and nature which can be found clearly in the pictures.
It also asks on each page, "What can you see?"
This gives the reader a good opportunity to pause and let the children enjoy the illustrations and answer the question:
"What can you see on the mountain?"
"I see a flower!"
"I see the snow!"
providing a chance to practice the set English phrases.
We should of course keep in mind that children learn best through actual experiences,
so how about reading this outdoors, under the blue sky? In the forest?
